Les Oeuvres Vives is a new 7.5 acres domaine in Bandol that started in 2020. It’s the dream child of Marc Van Peteghem who inherited a 18th century Mas surrounded by an old vineyard in Le Castellet. Les Oeuvres Vives is neighbor to Tempier. Marc was a naval architect in a previous life. He designed one of the first carbon free cargo working exclusively on solar and wind energies. As a vigneron, he is naturally leaning towards low impact viticulture and vinification, He gathered a dream team to start making a haute couture wine : Marie who is head winemaker at Pibarnon and Nicolas, a biodynamic farmer. Their first releases have been praised by local Michelin restaurants and even ranked among the top 10 Bandol by the famous Revue des Vins de France. The 2020 Bandol rouge received 94/100 while the 2022 Bandol rosé received 92/100 by Revue des Vins de France.
